Rick Mast
Rick Mast, a Bedford and Manhattan resident, is an entrepreneur and longtime veteran of the food and hospitality industry. Born in rural Iowa, Rick and his brother caught the entrepreneurial bug in Brooklyn, first as chocolate manufacturers, building experiential retail locations around the world. Most recently, they launched Mast Market, a thoughtfully curated neighborhood shop with locations in Bedford and NYC’s Upper West Side.
Rick is the co-author of the brothers' award-winning cookbook, Mast Brothers Chocolate: A Family Cookbook, which earned a James Beard nomination and I.A.C.P. award. He has appeared across major media platforms, including Iron Chef, Good Morning America, NPR, and The Today Show, and frequently collaborates with top chefs and restaurants.
